Environment
The sunny climate in Mogán permanently on the coast, makes the town, one of the best places for relaxation and recovery from illness, according to World Health Organization. Rainfall is low and the temperature is mild throughout the year, with an average of 20º C in winter and 26º C in summer but in winter, is commonly found in upland areas of the municipality, streams and spectacular waterfalls. Hence Mogán has the largest dam on the island: La Presa de Soria.
The vegetation is formed mainly by Tabaibales cactus and plants endemic to the island, although the city also has green peaks, with a large mass of pine forest, an oasis of palms and exotic fruit trees.
